Determined to change his life, he took full advantage of the educational opportunities available to him, earning 27 degrees and certifications, and even writing two books to inspire and support his fellow inmates.

Upon his release, Chad applied his newfound knowledge to launch a successful construction company, rebuilding his life and his future. He married, but after a decade, his wife filed for divorce, leaving him with nothing, taking everything for herself and her 3 children she brought into the marriage.
